Jaime Tintor holds an MFA in Acting from Florida State University and a BAA in English Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He has performed in repertory at the Asolo Theatre in Sarasota, FL, with credits including A Few Good Men, Amadeus, Pride and Prejudice, Pericles, and What the Butler Saw. His original one-man show The Louisiana Hayride, about Elvis Presley before fame, was written, directed, and performed by Jaime.
Southern California stage work includes understudying at the Garry Marshall Theatre, performing in Tom, Dick and Harry at Long Beach Playhouse, and appearances at the Whitefire Theatre. His film and television credits include iCarly (Nickelodeon), Rules of Engagement (CBS), General Hospital, and The Young & the Restless. He has also appeared in national commercials for Toyota, Arby’s, and the NFL Network.
Jaime studied with Patsy Rodenburg (Royal Shakespeare Company) and playwright Mark Medoff (Children of a Lesser God), and was directed by Burt Reynolds in a short film. He co-founded the Peanut Gallery improv troupe and trained with Upright Citizens Brigade.
He taught for 10 years at Beverly Hills Unified (English, ASB, and Improv) and at UCLA’s Summer Discovery Program (high school screenwriting and filmmaking). He lives in Chino Hills with his wife Jina and daughters, Cooper and Lucy.
